A beautifully extended fisherman’s cottage on a cliff, with the perfect mix of a hippie feeling and the comfort of a hot shower, a soft bed, and fast internet. Loved it. The sea view is simply unbelievable. We spent hours sitting on the sofa, just looking out of the window, watching the ocean and the atmosphere change like a living painting. One thing to be aware of: the cagarros come back from the sea in the evening and circle along the coast. These guys are really noisy. The back bedroom is quieter. The cleaning person does an excellent job. Not a speck of dust in sight, which is impressive for a place that is probably not easy to clean. Also, do not get nervous if the check-in information is still not accessible even a few hours before arrival. The instructions for entering the apartment are only sent on the day of arrival, shortly before check-in time.

A unique and very beautiful spot for a summer house. Perched just above the sea on the volcanic cliffs to the west of the island. Corey’s shearwaters (?) nesting just below the balcony gave us a stunning display at dusk and dawn. Good parking close by. We were unlucky enough to have unseasonably cold weather for May so the log burner hot a bit of use in the evenings.If you want to cook for yourself there is a well stocked kitchen and plenty of herbs spices and oils available.As a bonus we went whale watching and had a close up experience with a Blue Whale. All in all a great place to stay on a relatively unspoilt island.

Nice place, well equipped with spectacular views. Remote and off grid. Allow for time in car required to explore island, including daily mountain-driving commute to access main road. Need to watch small children and headlamps were recommended for night time.
