From the back gate, choose your own adventure, wander to the nearby Bullarto scenic reservoir, explore the Wombat Forest, or head the other way and follow the Domino Trail towards Trentham by foot or bike.
Set in Lyonville, known as the heart of gardens and artisan, you’re moments from local favourites and iconic experiences including Fleurs de Lyonville, Babington Park by Annie Smithers, and beloved events like the Lyonville Woodchop and Bake Off.
With a late checkout, you can take your time in the morning, enjoy a sleep in, a slow coffee, and soak up the surroundings before heading home.

From Mill House Studio, it is an easy drive to Hepburn and Trentham making it easy to take in all the attractions. The studio itself is more like a beautiful eclectic country cottage, spotless and exactly as described, actually it's better than thedescription.

4 days in Lyonville, 15 mins out of Daylesford was just what the doctor ordered. Emersed in nature, you notice the 'quiet' as soon as you open the car door. Mill House studio was perfect in size, amenities and quirky decor- toasty warm with a comfy bed to boot. Would highly recommend to all for relaxing get-away. Note, we were there Mon-Fri: most services cater for the weekend tourists, but still enough places to eat. Just do your research- you've plenty of time...
