A quiet residential street near Duck Lake, ten minutes outside Traverse City. This 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom house was built for families and multi-family groups traveling with kids and pets.
Perfect for multi-generational trips or two families vacationing together: a crib is available, the backyard is fully fenced, and quiet hours start at 10:30 PM in this genuinely residential neighborhood. Sleeps up to 10 across three king rooms and two twin XL rooms.
Shared Duck Lake access is a short walk away for kayaks and paddleboards — note the dock itself is for loading/unloading only, not for swimming or hanging out.
Every stay includes a bottle of Chateau Chantal sparkling wine, complimentary gym access, and a concierge for booking meals and experiences.
Downtown Traverse City is 10 miles away, with Crystal Mountain Resort about 20 miles further for ski-season trips.
Some trips need a full itinerary. This one just needs a fenced yard, a fire pit, and a lake at the end of the street.

The house was very spacious and had nice furnishings including very nice mattresses and linens on the beds. The bath towels were also really luxurious and the showers had shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided which was a really nice touch. The kitchen is very well stocked and we had everything that we needed to prepare meals in the home. We have stayed in quite a few rentals as a family and this one had a lot of really nice features - including a fire pit that we used every night with plenty of firewood provided which is amazing and not typical. We also loved the cornhole boards and the kids loved the sandbox and all the toys inside. We walked down to duck lake which is very close as well as enjoyed riding bikes around the quiet neighborhood roads. I would definitely recommend this rental can we look forward to Hopefully coming back again someday ourselves

We had a fantastic stay at the Duck Lake Hideaway! The house is beautiful and spacious, and it’s in a great location. Management did a great job and the owners of the property are the best! We love Duck Lake and being so close to it was so nice. We had our two large dogs with us and the property has a large fence around it so they had plenty of room to roam around. The neighbors are really nice as well. We will definitely be staying again.
