About this apartment rental
This characteristic building of the 600 has been recently renovated with care, is located in the heart of Trastevere and can accommodate up to 6 people. It is located in one of the liveliest districts of the capital, close to numerous clubs and restaurants, but it is still very quiet and intimate. The apartment is on two floors: on the ground floor there is a living room with a comfortable sofa bed for 2 people and a spacious kitchen with a dining area; on the second floor there are two double bedrooms with 2 bathrooms (one with a shower and the other with a bathtub). The kitchen leads to a beautiful garden where there is an original fountain of ancient Rome and a suggestive mandarin tree ... the outdoor area is equipped with a table, chairs and two sofas in front of the wonderful fountain.

The property was in the heart of Trastevere, which was wonderful. It was obvious this is a "party" area and the apartment was suited for groups who might be a bit rough with it, having minimal decor. It suited our short-term needs just fine. Beds were very comfortable.

The location of the unit was a plus. It is in walking distance to dozens of restaurants and bars. The bedrooms were a decent size but no TVs in the bedrooms. The pictures are deceiving. The unit needs updating. The bathroom in the master bedroom was extremely tight. Only meant for one person to basically walk sideways. Shower was tiny. The fixtures were very old and the toilet leaked intermittently. The stairs creaked a lot. The bedroom air conditioners worked intermittently. They appear to be old. The water heater stopped working for some reason. Come to find out, the circuit breaker had tripped. This possibly explains why, at check in, we were shown the circuit breaker panel and how it works. The back area is not as nice as the pictures show. The area is noisy at night and we found people talking right outside the door on two occasions during the middle of the night. We were provided only 1 key to lock and unlock the door. Key was needed to lock from the inside so basically the group had to leave and come back together or else someone would be locked in. Luckily we didn’t use the kitchen which meant not alot of trash, otherwise the renter was responsible for recycling and getting all trash to the designated trash dump area.
