About this apartment rental
Pelican Beach resort is a family friendly complex! Voted the #2 best beach in Florida! by southern Living Magazine. Not surprisingly, the water is an awesome blue green color that the gulf is famous for. My condo, 'BABS BEACH' Condo, is a premium condo on the 18th floor. What a fabulous view!. Tile floors throughout. you can have your morning coffee on the balcony and look at the sugar white sandy beach and the brilliant aquamarine water. See the sunrise, watch the dolphin play, see pelicans dive, and the manatee swim. At night, look left and see the colored lights of the city of Destin. This condo has the best views in Destin.

Two bedrooms, both with private baths. Master has a king bed and guest bedroom has a queen. Both bedrooms have private baths. Master bedroom has a tub/shower. Guest bedroom has a walk in shower. Both bedrooms have flat screen tvs. As well as a flat screen tv in the living area. Master bedroom has sliding screen doors to the balcony. Sleep to the sounds of the ocean! The updated kitchen is fully equipped. Just bring the chef! The dining area seats 6 and the two bar stools add two more quests. The loving area is quite spacious with floor length mirrors to enhance the view! the pull out couch has a queen mattress. All the comforts of home!
Arrival is easy! No waiting to check in. Go right to the elevator to the 18th floor. There is an electronic lock with a numeric code. I will provide the code as your dates approaches. Don't worry about loosing your keys at the beach. For security ...no one has the code but you! The code changes with each guest and will change when you leave. So take everything when you leave. You won't be able to get back in!

The property and the people were nice and very friendly. However we quickly noticed in our unit there was excessive moisture. In the living room in front of the tv stand and the bedroom on the other side of that wall was always wet with moisture. When we would leave the patio doors open all the floors would stay damp and slippery. We had an issue with our cellphones charging due to the phones giving a warning about being wet. We noticed that the ceiling above the wet spots had mold and the ceiling in the shower had lots of mold. Yet we made the most of our time there by trying to keep the floor wiped up and dry.
