About this cabin rental
Pine Oaks Lodge is a 1950's era cabin right on the edge of The Atlanta State Forest, thousands and thousands of acres of trees, lakes, wildlife, and trails. A major trailhead is at the end of the lane, walking distance from the front door. Bring your recreational vehicles or just bike or hike your way around the woods. There are 50+ lakes in Montmorency County which provide opportunities for boating, swimming, and fishing. For you birdwatchers, the Kirkland Warbler travels all the way from the Caribbean to nest in the Jack Pines that are within walking distance from our lodge. This is night sky country, so if you are lucky enough to have a clear night, you can enjoy amazing views free from light pollution. Pine Oaks Lodge has a secluded feel, but is just 3 miles from the Village of Hillman centrally located for short and longer day trips to a multitude of state and national forests and parks, as well as other outdoor sports, activities and tourist destinations.

This was my second time staying here this year. Hopefully a couple more in the not too distant future.For the ORV folks it’s only about 400 yards down the road to the trail head. Plenty of room to park a trailer and unload at and ride from the cabin.And there’s a nice fire pit out back.

If you’re looking for a place to stay and ride quads/SxSIt doesn’t get much better than this.I hope to return again and again.

Great spot to get away. If you’re about 6 foot be careful though, had to spend the trip dogging the beams, but couldn’t have asked for a better place to rest my head at night.

The cabin was clean and as described. The fenced area for dogs was great. Good communication from the hosts. Would definitely make another trip.
