About this cottage rental
At "Ridgeview" you can go to sleep to the flicker of a wood stove, wake up to sunshine streaming through tall windows onto honey-colored pine flooring, and watch from your deck as sunlight fills the river valley and plays across the ridge opposite.
Beautiful construction of 1000 square feet, a two-and-a-half story "salt box" cottage on ten acres, three of which are open and level grounds. Tastefully furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, two full baths, two wood stoves, a washer/dryer, and an additional refrigerator/freezer for additional food storage in the foyer. The ground floor includes a private primary bedroom with a queen bed, bay window, full bath, and private deck. Open floor plan and vaulted ceiling on the main level, with queen sleeper and a large view deck. Loft with a full bed for additional sleeping accommodations. Great for couples, two couples, or small families.
Located in beautiful Newfane, which is very quiet and serene, but just minutes to skiing and snowboarding, swimming, canoeing, daylilies, golf, hiking, galleries, antiques, Marlboro Music Festival, Brattleboro shopping, and restaurants.
Price includes linens, cable internet, WIFI, firewood, and utilities. Once you've stayed, you'll want to come back!

We had a wonderful, quiet stay and were grateful for the chance to be back in such a beautiful part of Vermont. James was very responsive, kind, and helpful throughout, which made the visit feel easy from the start. The property itself has such a peaceful feel, with beautiful acreage, gardens, wild mullein, berries, and the kind of natural charm that makes you slow down a bit. The cottage was cozy, comfortable, and full of character. It was a lovely getaway, and we look forward to returning.
