The apartment was very clean and equipped with everything you might need. The grocery store is in the same building as the apartment so this is very convenient.
The humidity was strong, but from what I heard everywhere in Furnas this is a problem even in the Terra Nostra Hotel so something to consider when booking your accommodation in Sao Miguel. We really wanted to stay in Furnas for 2 nights to be close to thermal baths. But even with the humidity none of our clothes or bed linen felt damp.

Such a spacious, clean and light-filled apartment. Our host Sandro could not do enough to help make our stay perfect. The location is superb - right in the centre. Next door is a super market and many restaurants within 5 minute walk.
