About this house rental
This 1929 house in the Central District has recently been remodeled with new floors and walls, and a new kitchen and an extra half bathroom upstairs. Perfect for 4 adults and 2 kids. Have coffee on the back deck. Hop the First Hill streetcar down to the International District and Pioneer Square, or over to Broadway on Capitol Hill. Take the buses to anywhere in Seattle. Walk to Pratt Park and Broadcast Coffee.

This was the perfect place for our family (my husband and me as well as our two grown kids). It isn't in downtown, which I appreciated. It was quiet and felt safe. It was walking distance to a nice cafe (where we had one of our breakfasts) and public transportation.We opted not to get a car for this trip and found public transportation easy to navigate (3 for 2 hours). We also Lyfted a few times as well. The kitchen was well stocked and all the dishware was well taken care of. My daughter and husband were delighted they could have coffee at the houseIt was a little warm (heat wave), but we came just in time as an AC unit was put in. We used it just one day when we returned home. I would guess that Seattle doesn't often get this warm and most places do not have AC, so this felt like a perk we didn't expect.The lighting was amazing in this home - it felt bright, airy, and just nice to be in. There were also puzzles and books. To note, there is no TV, which my husband noticed (LOL), but then I was grateful for because the night we arrived, my kids brought out a puzzle and completed it before they went to bed. HAHA. That was awesome to see. There is also a deck of cards available tho we had brought our own.Communication was top notch. Host had helpful advice both in messages and in the welcome binder. Access to the building was easy. Honestly, 5 stars. I've stayed at several rentals before and I have to say this host of one of the best. Highly recommend.

House was great. Needed to stay near the Swedish Cherry Hill campus for a week. Easy walk and house was very comfortable. Beds were great as well. Communication with the host was fast and easy. I would happily stay here again in the future.

It was a fabulous stay! We discovered a wonderful cafe about a third of a mile away this time, and the entire city was accessible via nearby bus!

Clean and bright home. Nicely renovated. Beautiful kitchen. Comfy living room. Missing some privacy curtains in bedroom and bathroom. Street parking occasionally challenging. Smoke detector malfunctioned.
