Nautilus Beach Resort by Charlesworth

Location close to Coffs Harbour City, beaches & coastal walk. Quiet while we were there but there weren't many others staying in the resort. Summer, when its full, might be different. Pool area fabulous 👌. Quick 5min walk to pool & local beach. The appartment itself was large & had everything needed for a long stay for two people. Comfortable king bed (possibly need to look at a new mattress as it was saggy at the sides). Comfortable lounges, good shower & bath area. Clean linen. Large fridge. Floors & living areas were clean.

Crockery, cutlery & glassware were dirty & put back in cupboards so we had to wash before use. A lot of mats, rugs & slip hazards that were not necessary. Outside undercover area needed a hose & good clean & sweep as it was very dirty including the chairs etc... The shower area only had a heat light working & was very VERY hot. The normal light needed a new globe. Things like that need attention when paying so much to stay. Oh, & there was no working exhaust fan in toilet area. A lot of general maintenance required at this property unfortunately.

The unit was beautiful . Tastefully decorated and so comfortable. Full kitchen as well . Close to beach .

The weather wasn’t great but the unit made up for it.

Quiet and peaceful environment. Good facilities onsite pool, tennis court, Thai restaurant. Easy and close access to the beach. Spacious apartment with views of the ocean from the patio. Very good kitchen in the apartment. Undercover and close parking. Great towels and comfortable bed with plenty of fresh air getting into the apartment.

Needs a bit of maintenance and love. Fly screen on windows requires replacing. Clean tops of fridge and window sills.

The location and the pool and spa

The place is outdated run down and needs a lift, the place had leaks when it rained the place was mouldy and needed a good clean the whole resort seems a little let go needs some good maintenance and cleaning and fixing up and it would be much better, there was no staff present the whole time I was there over the 6 days, the air con in one of the rooms didn’t work laundry door was broken some power points didn’t work and water got into the place once it rained
