Cottage was very well presented and clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. Hot tub was great after busy days at Alton Towers.
The cottage was extremely warm especially upstairs. Not anyone’s fault due to the weather and fans were provided but only in two of the bedrooms so not enough to go round. Also the lane into the property is extremely narrow. We have a big car and managed ok but very difficult to get out the driveway and back down the lane when someone is parked in the space opposite cottage. My husband had to reverse down the lane one of the days as only way we could get out the drive and it was not a great experience. Lucky he was there as I would not have been able to do that. Just a warning to anyone who’s maybe coming with a bigger car.

Good decent size for a family of 5 and 2 labradors and very cool inside for the heatwave. The beds were lovely and comfy/firm. The house was clean and has toys, books, dvds and ps4 for the kids but it also has a smart TV with Netflix and YouTube etc. Loved the coffee machine and the little treats provided. The kids loved the hot tub. Lovely quiet area. We would definitely stay again.
There are a few touch ups needed in the house as some things are broken, miss placed or hanging off a little, with having 3 pre teens we were worried they would break something, and just wish there was a gate so the dogs could just go in the garden without us worrying they would escape.
