The charming area of Testaccio is perhaps the last outpost of a nearly disappeared Rome. It's a slice of the city, next to Aventino and the Cocci Mountain, between Tiber bend at Ripa Grande and Piramide Cestia, next to Trastevere Area. It's nearly intact with the same original roman spirit. If you walk to Santa Maria Liberatrice, go around the famous fresh market counters (it is behind the building of the apt), Mattatoio, Campo Testaccio or to Acattolico Cemetery, you realize and breath the popular, human atmosphere.

Transport:: The apt is central, you can walk to the most important places in Rome but it's well connected by buses, trams, Piramide Subway. The subway leads to Coliseum, only 2 stops, to Piazza Navona etc.
