We stayed in the Pool View Room and were really pleased with it. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We loved the freestanding bath in the middle of the room, and the bathroom was much bigger than we expected.
The location was excellent as well. Our room was just behind the Pool Villas, and it only took a minute or two to walk to the beach. In fact, we could see the sea as soon as we checked in, which was a lovely first impression. The pool area was great, and Koh Lipe itself is absolutely beautiful. The water was so clear and still a lovely shade of blue, even on cloudy days.
The staff were friendly throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome. We'd definitely stay here again.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome. The complimentary vanilla ice cream was such a thoughtful touch. it was refreshing, delicious, and the perfect treat after checking in.
The views around the resort are absolutely breathtaking. I especially loved that it isn’t surrounded by crowded buildings, allowing you to fully appreciate the natural scenery and peaceful atmosphere. It feels incredibly relaxing and offers the perfect escape from busy city life.
I loved everything about this hotel. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. One of my favorite features was the cozy sofa area by the window, which was perfect for reading a book, getting some work done, or simply sitting back and enjoying the beautiful view. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would happily return in the future.
The peaceful atmosphere within the property makes it easy to relax, and the landscaping creates a true sense of tranquility. However, one downside is the area outside the resort. There is still a significant amount of ongoing construction nearby, which can be quite disruptive at times and slightly detracts from the overall experience. While this is beyond the resort’s control, it’s something worth keeping in mind if you’re looking for complete peace and quiet.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille à l'Irene Resort, situé sur une magnifique plage calme qui donne une impression d'intimité, idéale pour se détendre avec des enfants. Les chambres étaient modernes, très propres et parfaitement entretenues, et l'ensemble du complexe offrait une agréable sensation de confort et de propreté. Le personnel était accueillant et serviable, le petit-déjeuner était varié et de bonne qualité, et nos enfants ont particulièrement apprécié la grande piscine ainsi que l'accès direct à la mer. En résumé, c'est un hôtel paisible et parfaitement adapté aux familles, où nous reviendrions avec grand plaisir.
Il y avait très peu de choses à reprocher. Koh Lipe demande un peu d'organisation pour s'y rendre, mais une fois sur place, nous avons vite oublié le trajet et nous aurions aimé prolonger notre séjour de quelques jours.

The beach was the real highlight for us — peaceful and quite private, with unbelievably clear water where we could see coral and colourful fish, including clownfish, just offshore. Our room felt very new, spacious and beautifully designed, and the pool was much bigger than we expected and incredibly relaxing. The staff were warm, attentive and genuinely lovely throughout our stay.
There really wasn't much we didn't like. Koh Lipe takes a bit of effort to get to, but once we arrived at Irene, it was absolutely worth the journey.
