Eh, primo hotel del viaggio in Sry Lanka. All'inizio e' piaciuto, poi si e' preso atto della realta' (e soprattutto si sono fatti i confronti "servizi / posizione / prezzo" con gli altri hotel visti). Tecnicamente l'ottima colazione la si andava a fare in una struttura nelle vicinanze, a pagamento. In linea di massima ho trovato comunque affascinante scarpinare sul trafficato stradone sul quale si sviluppa il paese e fare qualche spesuccia nelle minuscole botteghe locali
Struttura gestita da un SuperBoss che ha diverse attivita' attinenti il turismo. La sensazione e' stata costantemente quella di stare in mezzo alla confusione, tutto poteva essere discusso. La disponibilita' a fare qualcosa per te e l'interesse si sono sempre accavallati lasciandomi una sensazione poco piacevole (sensazione mai piu' provata in questo Paese dove la gente e' squisita). Qualche scarafaggino in bagno (ci sta, la natura e' prepotente da quelle parti, ma altrove non he ho avuti). La vicina spiaggia era piuttosto invivibile (tanto caldo, poca ombra, pochi servizi e un po' di sporcizia), per raggiungerla si faceva un breve ma intenso tragitto stile vie di Calcutta anni 70. Di fatto, pur avendo scelto l'hotel per fare un qualche giorno stanza / mare, ci siamo organizzati per spostarci di qualche km sia per la spiaggia sia per uscire la sera. Soprattutto mi sono reso conto di aver speso molto di piu' (il triplo) di quanto avrei speso in altre strutture dello stesso livello ma meglio posizionate (visitate e toccate con mano)

Close to main beach
Showers and WiFi are not working well. Nearby there is a temple that might wake you up VERY early every morning due to prayers. the owner tried to charge us more money - I did not felt very respected

Clean and well maintained.
Options with and without AC (double check when you book).
Rooms are really simple.
Short walk to the beach but a bit far from the main restaurants, with a small dirt road with no lights, stray dogs and cows. Not super practical nor safe.
