Nice, spacious apartment in run-down, but friendly and charming neighbourhood. THere's a building site in the back yard, but very little noise and no work going on early or late. Nice wooden floors, great beds, lovely, sunny French balcony. We didn't use the real one much, but only because the afternoons and evenings were still quite cool.
We stayed for six weeks and missed some smaller stuff like towel racks and shelves in the bathrooms and maybe a few extra kitchen supplies (a grater, a peeler, that sort of thing), and the kitchen layout is a bit eccentric - but none of that would prevent us from recommending the place.

Lovely modern apartment, location a few km from the main city centre, more residential. Well connected to public transport and shops and restaurants nearby (try the Lebanese, Zaataria - less than 10 mins walk food delicious)
We picked the apartment due to the lovely balcony, however we missed the detail in the description around the building work. There is a building being demolished directly behind the apartment and opposite the balcony at the back. We didn’t sit out due to the noise and dust . Building noise from 8am, however we were up early sightseeing so didn’t really bother us.
Also please be aware you cannot leave your luggage so we had to use a storage facility when we arrived, and it limited our movements on the day we left.
Not enough seating for 4 people, only one sofa.

Het was een ruim appartement met een goede ligging
Er waren te weinig handdoeken beschikbaar, geen haakjes en plankjes aanwezig in de badkamers om dingen op te hangen of neer te zetten en bij beide toiletten ontbrak een wc rol houder.

Well being the first one who’s dropping a comment about this property I will do my best to be honest and subjective in all aspects.
We are a family of four with kids, 4 and 12 years old, and have stayed at this nice apartment for 9 nights. The reason that i picked this place is that I wanted to feel pretty much like home. With kids, you need space, having 3 separate rooms and 2 bathrooms was really comfortable. We had the chance to live for nine days where we can have the routines we did back home like having a breakfast together or any kind of meal. The appliances and kitchen utensils are definitely adequate.
The neighbourhood is residential. There are parks, schools, supermarkets, restaurants or different shops with other necessary services. You have two very nice places (maybe 70-80m away) to grab something quick if you dont have time for breakfast. The street looked a bit isolated as we arrived on a weekend but on weekdays it is much more alive. If you have or rented a car you can park on the street for free between 19:00-9:00. There are also very reasonable covered parking spots in about 500m distance. (Ibis Hotel Salhanda 10€/day). Subway station Arroios is a 7-8min walk. You are directly connected to Baxia or Chiado via subway. There are 4 big supermarkets all walking distance. Aldi is 100m and Auchan is 200m away. The park at the end of the street can be a lifesaver if you have kids.
I was really satisfied and peaceful during my stay at this property and I recommend it for everybody, especially for longer and crowded stays.
The lights were a bit insufficient in the main bathroom. Also both bathroom sinks are a bit narrow and that makes it difficult to wash your face without splashing around.
Both bathrooms were lacking a hanger for toilet papers and towels to dry your hands/face. These can be easily added for future guests.
This is a regular apartment and you wont be able to store your luggages if you arrive early than check in or leave later than check out time. However the host is really very helpful and may find a solution for that.
