Off street parking was a huge bonus. The house is large, well-amenitied, and very comfortable. The kitchen is extraordinarily well stocked. The back garden was lovely, large, and green---a welcome view from the light and bright windows across the kitchen and eating area. Loved the welcome notebook with great explanations of how things work.
The only negative we could find was that the kitchen ceiling fixture needed a couple of light bulbs. Given the plethora of windows, it would be no surprise that the cleaner would not have noticed!

Erin House was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed staying there. It was very convenient as a base from which to tour beautiful Connemara. It was also just a short walk down the road to the village centre, which we found very handy.

Great, spacious house, everything you need to cook meals, fluffy towels, comfy bed and pillows. Great shower also another toilet downstairs if someone is using bathroom upstairs. Garden lovely plants, off road parking. Excellent WiFi connection and all the latest TV programs to watch. Fantastic location about a minutes walk to cafes, shops. We had our 2 doggys with us house was perfect for us plenty of room. Great garden to play, about 4 mins walk to a lovely walk about 1km goes around the community sports pitch. Around the perimeter path lots of shrubs, trees and carved wooden animals and birds. We had breakfast in Lake hotel as a treat, dogs allowed in to sit. Had chips the Best out of the Camp chip shop, excellent and allowed doggys in. We were there just 2 nights as we went to Oughterard Agricultural and pet doggy show. So we were tired and didn't want to cook. But would have had no problem making meals in Erin houses big well equipped kitchen and plenty of room to sit at dining room table and chairs. For us it was Great! Our doggies loved Erin house. Hope to come back. Also easiest check in and out we ever had.
