Leanne's apartment was absolutely beautiful, well located and a relaxing home away from home to come back to at the end of our busy days exploring Darwin and surrounds! It was clean and tidy, with all linen and towels provided (bath and pool towels)- there were even several pool noodles available for use which was incredibly handy for our days at Florence Falls (Litchfield NP) and Berry Springs.
Leanne was very communicative and was always ready and willing to answer any questions we had. Self check-in was super easy, which was fantastic given our very late flight into Darwin, and the availability of a private, secure car space meant our rental car was safely parked each night off the street.
Being minutes from the Esplanade meant we started each day with a walk with the kids, with a wonderful playground close by. It is well located to be able to walk to the Waterfront (~20 minute walk), though we chose to drive as we have small children. Coles is across the road which made meal planning for the week affordable and easy, with the apartment having a full kitchen to take advantage of.
I couldn't rate our stay highly enough! We are so grateful to Leanne for accommodating us at such short notice when our planned accommodation fell through with less than a weeks notice. We cannot wait to be back!
The pool available for use at the apartment complex is lovely, however quite small and doesn't get any sun except for maybe an hour in the morning. This is great if you are a sun smart person, and my kids still enjoyed it one time, however I need full sun with my pools 🤣 It really didn't matter though given there is a free lagoon at waterfront and a free splash park/pool close by in Leanyer, plus the wave pool at Waterfront which has super cheap entry ($25 for the day for our family of 5!)
