About this house rental
Take it easy at this unique and Immerse yourself in a true Silver Lake retreat! This charming home boasts a fully stocked kitchen for culinary adventures, a cozy fireplace perfect for relaxing evenings, and breathtaking city views framed by lush trees. Experience the vibrant neighborhood, then unwind on one of two spacious decks, feeling miles away from the bustle. This French-style gem offers the perfect blend of urban access and a nature-infused escape. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it's an ideal getaway for couples or friends seeking something special.
Note: House has about 35 steps to the front entrance of the house, which leads directly into the front deck, as well

To abide by local legal requirements, you may be asked to complete a secure verification portal by providing a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirming your contact information and sharing the purpose of your stay. The information is collected for screening and verification only and is not stored or used for any other purposes.
By making a reservation, you acknowledge that you may be required to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID prior to check-in. You understand that your check-in instructions might be withheld until you have successfully completed verification steps in our guest portal.
For security and to prevent unauthorized parties, please be aware there is one camera on the property facing the entryway.
Absolutely NO PARTIES whatsoever. Violation of this rule may result in a $1,000 USD fine.
House Rules:
1. Strictly no smoking in the home. Violation of this rule may result in a $500USD fine.
2. No loud parties or gatherings allowed in the home, there are great neighbors who've been here for years, so respect for them is always appreciated.
3. We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
4. Maximum Occupancy - The maximum number of guests is limited to four (4) persons.
5. No Daily Maid service - While linens and bath towels are included with the property, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. Weekly maid service is available for an additional charge. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken off the property.
6. Falsified Reservations - Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in.

We loved the deck! Great view, quiet, nice flow between indoors and outdoors, many hummingbirds and birdsong. Fairly private. Many reviews mention the steps - we didn't think they were anything particularly troublesome.

Absolutely stunning views in a cozy and serene setting. It was lovely feeling removed from hubbub while still only a short walk to lovely cafes and restaurants down on Sunset. Parking was easy on the street and so the whole city felt very accessible. The place felt large, very comfortable, and well equipped. We didn’t use the treehouse studio much, but we spent almost whole days out on the porch. Would 110% stay again.

This property is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood just above Sunset in Silver Lake -- A+ for location. It has a nice big deck with stunning views of DTLA. It is great during the day, but at night when the sun goes down and the buildings shimmer, it is quite stunning. Comfy beds and well-stocked kitchen. It is quite a bit of a hike up to the property from street level. But that is how you get the view.
