The property wasn’t represented properly, this was a terrible experience and we where grossly overcharged.

It was spacious.

***There is no reliable parking let alone free parking at this site. We had to park a quarter mile away and pay for parking after looking for parking in the neighborhood for half an hour*** It was falling apart, there’s no grout in the tiles, the bathroom sink is loose from the wall, the shower head is barely functional, the beds where stiff, the AC units kept shutting off, the property was just weird.

Lock Box Not There

I arrived at the property at 1:00 in the morning because of delayed flights and the fact that my bag was lost and so I had to remain at the airport long after my flight landed trying to submit a lost baggage report. When I arrived at the property, there was no lock box to the right of the main door. I spent 30 minutes outside in the dark in Chicago searching for it. I gave up and went back to the airport, and slept for a few hours there before my presentation at the conference. When I reached out to the facility to refund my stay because the lock box was not present, I was informed that there was no cancellation possible, and that there is a 24-hour available communication policy (which is posted nowhere as a policy). I was told that if I had reached out at 1:00 in the morning, they would have been able to either honor my request for a refund or help me with the lock box. I was not going to trust that anyone would answer my attempts at communication at 1: 30 a.m. and I was already nervous because I was hunting around the perimeter of an unfamiliar property in the dark in an unfamiliar neighborhood searching for a lock box that was not there. After half an hour, I called an Uber and slept in the airport. I never entered this property, I was never able to stay there. I have been charged the full amount of $327.96 for a two day stay that was not possible, and I was told that the requested refund is impossible because I did not reach out at 1:30 in the morning. This was an unsatisfactory experience.

Problematic

The space is clean, good furniture’s. The shower is good, I didn’t had time to verify the rest it was an overnight staying.

The access, there is a locker with a key inside, it was hard to find it because it was covered by snow. The thermostat was not working so the environment was very hot, but I turned the AC in the bedroom. They requested a security deposit of 500 dollars for a single night, the payment is done outside the booking platform, which I suspected as a fraud. But I called the Booking Customer Service and they said it was ok for paying it. The property manager also took a long time to answer my messages in the booking app, especially with the code to open the door, so if you need a quick staying I don’t recommend it.
