I have stayed a number of times here over the years, since the job is in the town. It is also a good location to get to the airport, .5 hr. away. It was quiet, In the summer with the long days a better blackout arrangement would be appreciated, please note it was not bad. There is a restaurant within walking distance. The breakfast choice is good.

The hotel was only an 8 minute drive from the Blue Lagoon. The lobby area was expansive with lots of space to hang out.
The outside of the hotel had all the charm of an abandoned elementary school. The only sign on the building was approaching the hotel from the northeast, so it was hard to identify. The coffee pot in our room was dusty and needed to be cleaned by us before we could use it. Breakfast served in spurts so you had to return to the serving area several times to get enough food.
