Beautiful big room with amazing wall decorations celebrating the area. Hotel & room as described. Not sure why we chose Grindavik but it is close yo the Blue Lagoon. 25 minutes to Keflavik.
We left early and there was no breakfast bag available. We couldn't regulate the heat in the room. It was way too hot. The water pressure was non existent.

Clean, friendly staff, welcoming environment, great free breakfast, close to lots to do

The hotel was only an 8 minute drive from the Blue Lagoon. The lobby area was expansive with lots of space to hang out.
The outside of the hotel had all the charm of an abandoned elementary school. The only sign on the building was approaching the hotel from the northeast, so it was hard to identify. The coffee pot in our room was dusty and needed to be cleaned by us before we could use it. Breakfast served in spurts so you had to return to the serving area several times to get enough food.
