Amazing location and terrace! The house is unique, beautiful.
My friend, who stayed in one of the bedrooms, complained about the canalisation smell at night, probably coming from en suite shower. I didn’t notice anything like that in my bedroom, nor other rooms.

The location was great as long as you are able climb lots of steps to reach it. So not suitable for everybody
The house wasn't clean. We moped the floors and the water came up black.
The toilet seat in the upstairs bathroom that previous guests had mentioned in their review - still not fixed
The fuses went if you used oven and had any aircon on in house
Aircon broke on last day, i messaged host and 6 hours later i had not received a response i called and he responded with a text saying he was unable to get an engineer out but offered no alternative e.g. a fan. So i spent a sleepless night on the floor in the kitchen level as unable to sleep in the 3rd floor bedroom.
No instructions how to get outside lights on, (you dont just flick the switch outside) we thought the bulbs had gone and spent two nights in the dark before contacting host who explained we had to flick a switch in one of the bedrooms first -this could be explained via a note by switch.
I requested a second key, the owner said he would bring it monday then we heard nothing until thursday when he was trying it in the door.
