I have been meaning to write this well deserved review and can wholeheartedly say I loved my stay here. The hosts were super communicative and attentive from the start. As soon as you message them once they send their contact number you are met with super friendly and timely replies.
They are very willing to help even with offering to arrange our airport transfer for us for a reasonable price. Once I arrived at the apartment they met me and my children at the gates and showed us in which was a lovely added touch as you do not always get to physically meet your hosts. The lady helped me with my buggy for my daughters and that was really nice as I had that and a large suitcase plus other bags so to have that extra help was priceless.
They asked if I needed an ironing board as there was an iron there and they brought it round the next morning which was helpful as I needed to iron our clothes daily. The facilities were amazing, decor was relatively modern and the surroundings were peaceful. Everything seemed newly decorated and fresh! Surrounding area had a non-tourist feel which I love; to not be surrounded by other holiday makers is perfect for me. I prefer it that way, and the people who live in the other apartments surrounding are very nice, respectful and feels family oriented.
Oven/cooker easy to use, had toaster, kettle, plates, cups, cutlery etc - literally every you need. They had a large chilled bottle of water in the fridge which was amazing as after a flight etc and the hot weather a cool drink of water is needed and appreciated.
Bathroom showers facilities perfect, easy to use and temperature great. They had shower gel there which was helpful.
There was no aircon but the window in the bedroom allowed cool breeze and the infamous wind of the island come into the room so you did not feel too hot at night.
Plenty of wardrobe space and the balcony was a decent size.
There are very limited negatives but all I can think of is to have few more towels available and maybe some lager towels as they were quite small (even though amount was sufficient). The shower has a time limit for the hot water which was not much of an issue as but if was informed beforehand would have been helpful to have been made aware of it. You can use the shower for a good 10 minutes I would say until the hot water stops hut that is sufficient as didn’t need to be in the shower for longer that that anyway.
Also the bedding was not the best (the design and colour were very dated and didn’t match the modern clean feel of the rest of the apartment. I think it would have been nice to have a sea themed bedding as there are other sea themed bits around. The bedding also was a bit picky and would be nice if it felt more fresh and brand new. The pillows were a bit flat (which I didn’t mind!) but some people like more of a poofy pillow which would have been nice as gives a more hotel/value for money feel.
Honestly I don’t have any complaints in other areas and I’m sure they will only improve & get even better in the future as this apartment was newly listed and had no reviews before I booked - so happy I have it a chance!
