New, location, pool, beds comfortable, nice security guard. He was lovely and rushed up to me during a rain storm with an umbrella which showed kindness. I also asked the housekeeper on level 4 for an extra toilet roll and she was polite and efficient. Refreshment on arrival nice.

Never in my travelling life have I ever been presented with an itemised inventory of everything in the room to sign before entering, such as, towels , glasses, pillows, tissue boxes and asked to sign it. I felt like I wasn’t trusted and would steal. It made me go to the room and tick off everything like a housekeeping supervisor. Total overkill. When I questioned it, I was met with a sassy attitude and asked if I had ever checked into a hotel in the Philippines before. I had in fact been travelling 6 weeks all over the Philippines and come from the Shangri-La in Borocay so the attitude and list wasn’t appreciated. I spent 3 nights here, the breakfast was a 3 star average buffet, I did not get housekeeping as I was too afraid the inventory might be wrong and I’d be blamed. So many staff milling around reception on phones but not greeting customers. My room was right by the recreation area and often people were chatting outside on phone calls/ laptops until late. Suggest a sign with quiet times.
On arrival I asked about tours but what was offered was very overpriced and some were private. I jumped on get a guide and found my own. ATM in lobby might be useful.

The friendly staff but sometimes it feel too much to greet in chorus, pool and the breakfast.
We were at room 306 and stayed for 6 nights and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The bathroom had a strong sewage smell the last four days of our stay, which made it very unpleasant to use. The odor seemed to persist and significantly affected the overall cleanliness and comfort of the place. I hope this issue is addressed for future guests. We ordered 2 times housekeeping but it looks like they did not clean the toilet, shower room and lavatory, they only replace or folds the towels. The hotel is new but poor cleanliness, unfortunately!
