Not Worth the Price: Cleanliness and Location Issues
Nothing except for the fact that the owner responded to our request of cleaning the room and you don't need to put an alarm clock as roosters in the surrounding area would ensure you would wake up before sunrise. Mattress was good
This place feels more like an Airbnb-style setup rather than a proper hotel. There is no working kitchen and no professional staff. Language is a major barrier, making it very difficult to explain basic requirements. At least in hotels, staff are trained, professional, and ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance—this was clearly missing here.
The rooms are extremely small, yet the charges are quite high compared to the size and facilities offered.
Cleanliness was a serious concern. Bed sheets, linen, and bathroom towels were unclean. We had to repeatedly ask the caretaker to clean the room and replace everything. Although the owner claimed that the linens were washed, I personally saw the caretaker reuse the same bedsheets immediately after previous guests checked out. This was highly unprofessional and unacceptable.
Wardrobe size was too small
No packaged drinking water bottle.
Checkout timings are odd (10:00 AM to 10:00 AM). I checked in around 6:00 PM and expected a 24-hour checkout, but was still asked to pay extra—which I did.
The location is far from the city center. Every trip to Bridheshwar Temple requires booking an auto, costing around ₹150 per side. The railway station is also quite far. Even if you expect a calm stay due to the remote location, be prepared for constant disturbance from roosters crowing throughout the day.
Overall, it was a bad experience. Unless you have your own vehicle and are unable to find any hotel, you may consider this place. Otherwise, I would strongly suggest staying away.
