How comfortable and homely it was

The outside table was next to the oil tank might be nice to have an option to sit on the patio at the front of the property

We really enjoyed our stay at Priory Cottage. The owner had kindly left fresh milk and some bread for our arrival which was a really nice touch. The property was spacious, very clean and allowed our family plenty of space to spread out, the garden was really nice for our dog! The beds were extremely comfortable and shower was hot and powerful! We enjoyed spending time in Hay on Wye, which has some lovely walks, cafes, bookshops and great places to swim in the river. I booked our stay quite ahead of time, and did get a bit nervous when I checked the recent reviews before we stayed due to someone leaving a very bad review, but I didn’t need to worry - the house is in a lovely rural location, was well maintained and communication with the owner was really good and we’d happily stay again if we are ever visiting the area in the future!

The TV might not be the same as that in the pictures and the WiFi isn’t as high speed as we are used to but it really didn’t matter because there was plenty to entertain us. There’s a lovely library with lots of books and games and so much to do in the surrounding area!

Spacious and comfortable. Excellent bathrooms. Peaceful

Short on small things, tea towels, washing up liquid

The property was very large good for a large family with pets
