The house is spectacular, so unique and full of character a real treat to stay in and I think it would be magical at Christmas. The location and views are so beautiful, the footpaths leading into the woodland made for great adventure for the children and perfect to walk the dog in. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again.
Some areas could have done with a little more of a clean but it didn’t take away from the fantastic time we had.

What an incredible place! So spacious, quirky and had everything we needed for a family reunion and a relaxing weekend away. Jo was really helpful, organising a travel cot for us in advance and was quick to respond to any messages. The views from the house are stunning, plus we saw bats and heard owls in the garden at night. There were plenty of bathrooms and the kitchen was really well equipped, we also appreciated the provisions left for our arrival too. The children loved the trampoline in the garden (we signed a waiver before access to a padlock code was granted - great idea) and there were plenty of games as well as a billiards table/air hockey. It's an old house so some of the features are quite unusual but we loved the uniqueness and grand feel of the place. Would definitely stay again, it is truly memorable. Thank you so much!
Double beds were a little on the small side but were very comfortable. Otherwise, absolutely everything was perfect!
