Do Not Rent from Rendezvous Mountain Rentals
Location, about it.
I would not rent this property again, nor would I book through Rendezvous Mountain Rentals.
Upon arrival, the condo had a strong smoky odor from the fireplace. We had to open all the windows and doors just to make it tolerable. The unit itself appears very outdated, with few (if any) meaningful upgrades over the past 30+ years.
The biggest issue, however, is the poor construction and lack of soundproofing. You can hear virtually every external noise from inside the condo—especially from the unit above. Every footstep was clearly audible, and at times the ceiling would even squeak. There were two couples staying above us: a younger couple who would return late at night and move around (including directly above our bedroom), and an older couple who woke up very early. Between nighttime noise and early-morning activity—walking, moving furniture, and handling luggage—it was nearly impossible to get a full night’s sleep. On the second night, we were awake for hours due to the constant noise.
While the location is excellent, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had renting a condo, cabin, or vacation home. I also never received a follow-up after raising these concerns with the rental company, which was disappointing.
I would not recommend staying here—especially if you value peace and quiet—and I will not be booking through Rendezvous Mountain Rentals again.

Great property but upstairs unit noise past 10pm made stay a disappointment.
The property managing the unit was incredible. Quick response to emails and help with any requests. The unit was fully stocked with what we needed for our stay including local coffee and clothes detergent.
The one thing that took my review score from a perfect 5 down to a 2 was the unit directly above us. People were up past 1am and were noisy and walking back and forth with hard heels and moving furniture over half the time we were there. Even with ear plugs in I could hear them. Our days skiing we were exhausted from lack of sleep. Not fair when paying over $200 a day for a ski pass.
