Welcome to your own quiet corner of Green Haven. Surrounded by forest and mountain views, this charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath cottage is a serene family escape just minutes from Dorset and Manchester.



The Space:

Step inside a bright, open living space featuring large windows, a cozy fireplace, and plenty of room to unwind. Whether you're curled up with a book by the fire or exploring the trails nearby, this cottage is designed for simple pleasures and peaceful days.



The two bedrooms are warm and inviting, and the full bathroom offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. Outside, nature takes center stage, trees, birdsong, and fresh Vermont air.



Located just down the path from the main Green Haven home, this cottage can be reserved on its own or alongside the main house for larger groups. It’s the perfect setting for family visits, creative retreats, or anyone craving a slower pace in beautiful Southern Vermont.

Guest Access:

Accessible with smart lock; no contact with host required.

You'll be able to access all living/sleeping areas aside from the north end of the house (everything shown in the pictures).

- 2 minutes to Dorset Quarry: this is a must-visit local swimming spot surrounded by rock ledges and history.

Vehicle is recommended. You will need AWD to get up driveway in the winter - plowing will occur when there is more than 3” in snow.

Wildlife: This is a home in a rural part of the country. You may see wildlife including deer, coyotes, foxes, and bears. Please be mindful of your surroundings and leaving out food and trash.



Weather: In the winter, there will be snow, ice, and occasional snowstorms. We recommend driving a vehicle with AWD or 4WD. Please drive with caution and be prepared with regards to the ability of your vehicle to drive in the snow.



Power & Internet: This is a rural part of the country. You may lose power or internet during inclement weather. We do not issue refunds for loss of power or internet out of our control.



Air conditioning: The main floor has central air. AC availability is seasonal and depending on weather (late spring and summer). Heating is also seasonal, and depending on weather, available during the cold seasons (autumn-winter).



Pets: We’re happy to welcome your pup to the home, this home only allows dogs under 30 lbs. There’s a $150 fee + tax for the first dog and $50 + tax for each additional one. If you’re planning to bring more than one, please reach out to us before completing your booking so we can get everything set up for you. For everyone’s comfort, we kindly ask that dogs stay leashed outdoors and that you clean up after them. Please note that cats aren’t permitted due to allergy concerns. Any pet-related damages may result in additional charges.



Maximum occupancy: Please mind that this house can host a maximum of 5 guests per fire code. As per the fire department, infants are included in that number. Therefore, any infants included in the booking above maximum occupancy of 5 would unfortunately result in the reservation being cancelled.



Cancellation Policy: We cannot make any exceptions to our cancellation policy. Please consider traveler’s insurance.
