Excellent location right in the heart of the town. A very spacious and well-equipped apartment. Everything was easy to find and easy to use. The price was high but you get a lot for your money.
The key safe was very difficult to open (on my fourth attempt when just about to phone the host the lid finally came open and the key fell out). While the flat was generally very clean, there were some cobwebs around and the shower cubicle could do with a bit of bleaching to remove the mould. The lack of parking could be an issue for many, but hardly surprising for a centrally located, second floor flat.

The modern apartment (in a very old building) was cosy and nicely decorated, with a view onto the heart of the village.
We loved everything—but fair warning: this isn’t suitable for those with mobility issues. The flat is accessible only by stairs.

Perfect location, right in the centre with stunning views. Great sized apartment with all necessary bits and pieces you need to make it a comfy stay.

Ideally situated in central Hay-on-Wye so no car needed. Good kitchen and modern bathroom area, clean and tidy and functional. Helpful host.
We didn’t stay the night as beds were far too soft. Husband has had back issues and a squidgy bed is no good for him. No parking at all and local carpark was full so had to juggle moving car.
