the host was lovely. the apartment was good size.
the parking spot designated is quite small. we had rented a truck and it was too big to park there. there was street parking available - so no problem

This was an absolutely wonderful stay! The place was exceptionally clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The free parking and garden suite setup made it feel like a true home away from home. The location in New Westminster was also very convenient

This apartment was paradise. Really a home a way from home. A well-thought-out, smartly designed, and well-equipped house, provided with every convenience and - big plus - two decent bedrooms. Plenty of natural light, even though it is in the basement. Every conceivable amenity is close at hand, from a mall to a park with a swimming pool. For those hesitant about the distance to Vancouver's city center: the bus stop is right outside the door, with connections to the metro that takes you to the center. I didn't find it a problem at all, and you get to see more as well.
I mistakenly expected a washing machine, but the host does offer washing service. Also, there are multiple self-service laundries nearby. Tiny suggestion: there were plenty of basic foodstuffs in the house, from ketchup to peanut butter (hooray!). Cooking oil would be a great addition.
