Very central, close to Cathedral, lovely roof terrace with amazing views over Funchal and beyond. Comfortable bed and room overall. Cafés and shopping on the doorstep and lovely pedestrianised area.
Coffee machine was provided with 1 capsule, I think a kettle would be better. The shower (room 6) started to smell of drains as the water didn't clear very well when having a shower. The stairs are very steep, not good if have mobility issues.

Clean, spacious and central location
Hard for middle aged and above to climb all the stairs. Great for young people.
