Friendly very helpful staff. Room very clean ,comfy bed . Breakfast at the cafe was great.
We didn’t like the fact that we could only get out one side of the double bed, (there were two of us ) and only a bedside light on one side.
The location was extremely noisy .we knew it was above a pub but the traffic was really noisy all night and delivery vans stopped in the square at 3 in the morning with their engines running . We went out and bought ear plugs.

Location 10/10, no aircon and above a pub so summer would be tough - it’s pretty warm.
Breakfast is a voucher at a local cafe, which isn’t open until 08:30 weekdays or 10am Sunday - so don’t plan to be away early and expect breakfast.
Rooms recently renovated, good double glazing, wifi great. Room could do with a chair and side table.
Temp control is hard. If you have your window open you’re up for constant smoke from outside of pub. Closed, no noise or smell but it warms up in there.
Worst part is a lovely bright led strip on the outside windowsill - so you need to get creative to block that out.
