537 Saint Emilion - Luxury Guest House

The room and garden/pool were all tastefully presented to a very high standard. A continental Breakfast was served on the patio area in the lovely garden setting. The host Michell was very welcoming and helpful as was the lady who worked with him.

Nothing to dislike

Our stay was fantastic from arrival. Michell was very welcoming and helped us with renting some e-bikes and gave us some great advice on our first day in Saint Emilion. The location is also ideal - a short trip into Saint Emilion or to any of the vineyards nearby, either on the bikes that you can rent at the property or by car. The rooms and the property generally are stunning - everything is spectacularly well maintained, the gardens and pool area are beautiful and a joy to spend time in (as we did for the whole of our second day). The photos absolutely are a realistic portrayal of the property, and in fact maybe even slightly under-sell it! All of the amenities work very well (air conditioning is great, mini bar is well stocked, bathrooms is very clean and fittings are great). Breakfast is also wonderful - great pastries, fruit and jams (interesting and delicious flavour combinations) and freshly squeezed orange juice. Clearly this is something that the owners take great pride in and it shows! All in all, we couldn’t have had a better stay (unless we had stayed longer). If we are in Saint Emilion again, this is 100% where we would stay - we wish we had been here for our entire stay in the area. Thank you to Michell and the team at 537, you have a beautiful property and we loved our time here!

Michell was an amazing host, warm and welcoming. He even picked us up from the train station and gave us a quick tour of the area, which was such a lovely start to our stay. The attention to detail in the guesthouse is amazing. The furniture, the rooms, the breakfast, the garden, everything was just beautiful and so thoughtfully done. We absolutely loved our stay. It felt special, private, homely, aesthetically beautiful and luxurious at the same time. We also loved the option to rent e bikes from the guesthouse, which was a great way to explore the area. Saint Émilion is very close by and easily reachable by bike. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!
