Spacious sitting room, flexible sleeping configurations, seats in a sunny patch of the garden, and the attractive village with its lovely church and pleasant shops and The Plough pub.

Well equipped kitchen, our host left milk, bread and butter. Good location, in the centre of the pretty village of Wrington with beautiful countryside walks.

The bathroom was adequate, but the toilet didn't flush well and the shower needs updating. The back garden was overgrown. The property is right on the road and the main bedroom is at the front, so noisy from traffic.

Oh my! What a find. The hosts are quite literally the most helpful, lovely people I’ve encountered with such a wonderfully cute and peaceful place, it’s impossible not to fall in love with it all. We extended our stay we loved it so much. Ideally situated for amazing walking, handy for the airport, we used it as a retreat but soon found ourselves intertwined in a lovely village community - mainly, but not exclusively, through meeting walkers and just saying hello to people in the village. The community is a very organised and happy one, keen to retain the character of Wrington; it really is quite charming. Cozy cottage itself is a beauty with some lovely decorative touches but enormously functional too. Bravo!

Free champagne? No, but seriously, nothing was unexpected or tricky.

Charming property, kept very clean. Beautiful village surroundings. WiFi worked perfectly for our needs.

Noise due to church bells, birds, even the heating system in the house: overall tolerable, even expected up to a point for this kind of property and location. Cannot say the same for the rather ineffective flush in main toilet, inconvenient and not very functional. Describing the cottage as a three-bedroom property and then making up all the beds in just two of them, including bunk beds, is somewhat misleading. Bedding was rearranged by ourselves, which wasn't ideal, also because different sets than the ones available (double vs single) were now required for best fit. If use of one sitting room as an extra third bedroom is optional, maybe the option should be agreed with guests before their arrival; otherwise, the cottage may be better described as a two-bedroom property.
