About this house rental
Enjoy Prescott in this sunny, clean, happy space with vaulted ceilings and an attached garage in a quiet neighborhood on private streets.
The home is single level, comfortably fits four adults and features two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and private bath and the guest bedroom has two twin beds with a bathroom across the hall. All beds have new memory foam mattresses and the guest bedroom has room darkening curtains. Tenants have also said that the living room recliners are great to sleep in for those with back issues.
The primary bathroom has grab bars in the step-in shower and next to the toilet and the guest bathroom has grab bars in the shower/tub combo.
Home is stocked with linens, blankets, towels, starter bathroom toiletries, hangars, laundry baskets, unscented laundry detergent, fans, kitchenware, pots/pans, condiments, cleaning supplies, and trail maps.
The HOA maintains front yard landscaping.
Tenants have access to the seasonal pool (open May - Oct), tennis and pickleball courts which are two blocks down the street from the house. The pool is open from 7am-9pm and reserved on weekdays from 7am-10am for adult/exercise swimming. The clubhouse has racquetball courts, a pool table and a ping pong table.
The home is in a beautiful, safe neighborhood called Hidden Valley Ranch on private streets set in rolling hills and Ponderosa pines. Neighbors are often out walking their dogs or heading to the pool which is two blocks down the street from the house. The neighborhood is dark and quiet at night which makes sleeping a breeze. The neighborhood backs to the Prescott National Forest.
Extensive trail systems start just a quick .24 mile walk/bike/drive from the house at the end of Cougar Lane. Goldwater Lakes is accessible from the trails or an easy 10 minute drive up Senator Hwy. The new Bean Peaks flow trails are also accessible from the trails near the house. Parking at city lakes is free on Wednesdays. City Lakes include Goldwater Lakes, Lynx Lake and Watson Lake.
There is a Safeway grocery store/pharmacy/Starbucks just 1.1 miles/5 minute drive from the house.
Prescott offers great local restaurants, breweries and activities such as kayaking, hiking and mountain biking. Prescott is renowned among the adventure crowd for its extensive multi-use trail systems and lakes. OHV rental is convenient for exploring the Prescott National Forest trails.
The downtown Courthouse square and historic Whiskey Row often host festivals, parades, bands, outdoor cinema and car shows and are only 2.2 miles/7 minutes from the house.
You can also head to Sedona for beautiful red rock cliffs or Flagstaff for cooler summer temps and winter snow skiing. Every effort has been made to create a welcoming and comfortable space so this will feel like home away from home and with the adventure of exploring Prescott. Perfect quiet getaway up in the pines. House was clean and had everything we needed. Clubhouse was close. Pool was warm, pickleball courts were active, and neighborhood players were friendly. There is a meadow behind the house with a small trail. Saw a deer and a javalina.javelin. Very close to town. Recommend for those who want an easy retreat.

Overall, this was a solid place to stay. It comfortably accommodated three people, and we really enjoyed having access to the pool and the nearby walking trails.A few things to keep in mind:- The beds were not very comfortable and were quite squeaky. Even small movements during the night made noticeable noise, which occasionally woke me up.- If you plan on cooking, be aware that the kitchen is stocked with basic dishes and cookware, but it does not include items like baking dishes, casserole pans, or a crock pot.- I would recommend bringing your own pillow if you're particular about comfort, as we did not find the provided pillows very comfortable.- The rugs in the kitchen tended to slide around, and we found ourselves tripping on them a few times, so just be mindful when walking through that area.- Be mindful when pulling into the garage entrance/driveway. There is a fairly large curb/drop at the entrance, and if you drive in too quickly, you'll feel a pretty significant bump or thud as the car goes over it. It's not a major issue, but it's worth slowing down, especially if you're driving a rental vehicle.Despite these minor issues, we had a pleasant stay overall and appreciated the amenities and location.

The house was wonderful! Rebecca was top notch in communicating with us. We were welcomed with a very clean house and snacks in the kitchen and soaps, shampoos in each bathroom. We had a comfy bed and very nice sitting arrangements in the living room. We had family over several time and we all enjoyed our time there. We will definitely book this place again, hopefully in the summer as we can use the poo l.
