Clean, wonderful service and the food was excellent.Even though on the main road the room was quiet did not have any problems.would recommend this inn.
The kettle needs to be descaled, or checked puts you off making tea or coffee.I always carry descaled cause every place I stay at has the same problem. Otherwise no problems

The room was exceptional. I was late arriving so missed the evening meal which I was looking forward to
Breakfast could have been earlier

Great location, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Despite its name, the New Inn is anything but new! The building has plenty of character, and the rooms have a charming, old-world feel that adds to its appeal. A lovely place to stay if you appreciate historic buildings with character
I’m 6” tall but if I were much taller then my head would have hit the ceiling, but it was fine for me, I just had to duck a few times in the hallway.

Staff were friendly, welcoming & helpful ( especially when I locked myself out of my bathroom in the depths of the night)!
They give excellent walking directions, too.
Heating in my room - but ,then, I feel the cold😉
