location fantastic
the house itself is lovely, decorated lovely
good size drive which we got two cars on
lots of kitchen supplies
nice big garden
front bedroom curtains are a massive no no, particularly with street lighting and any cars leaving the property across the street
there is a huge construction site next door which starts very early signalled by their very loud radio
we were not warned and this was not on this listing
the site have a security guard next to the house all night and you can hear their engine running through the very thin windows
we hardly used the lounge, despite appearances on the pictures it is very dark and uninviting in the day as is the whole house in general which was a shame
due to not getting any sleep due to the light/sound issues aforememtioned we only spent one night there and moved elsewhere for the duration of our time there
we have reported all of this to the owner who took days to come back to us and offered to give us a discount next time we stayed but the likelihood of us returning from the uk again is very slim!
this was quite expensive probably due to the locality however being able to get a good nights sleep anywhere is top priority so this isnt good value for money in our eyes unfortunately
