The Refugio is close to the main square and places of interest. (Ollantaytambo is not a big town.) The location was quiet (apart from the pleasant sound of running water in the irrigation channel out front). Staff were friendly and helpful, though English was limited. The bedroom was spacious and clean with a wonderful view of the mountains. Wifi was generally good. Hot water was only lukewarm - there was an electical heater on the showerhead. Breakfast was the usual but a little bigger. Apart from the usual sights to see, there are good views from across the river.
The bathroom was small, with the toilet just inside the door. The water was not hot enough. The bathroom had a very strong musty smell that was exceptionally unpleasant. This really undermined the positives of the hotel. There are major roadworks in the street were the Refugio is located. The street is completely dug up meaning you need to carry ( not roll) your luggage. I'd say they'll be working on it for months to come. (It also means there is no noisy car traffic to worry about.) No TV in the room if that matters to you.
