Our stay in Alghero was truly exceptional, and a huge part of that was thanks to the incredible hospitality of our host and his family.
From the very beginning, our host was always in touch with us, making sure we had everything we needed and giving us great recommendations for beaches, places to visit and things to experience around Alghero and Sardinia. He provided us with beach mats and an umbrella, and when we simply asked if he happened to have a second umbrella available, he didn't hesitate for a moment — he actually went out and bought a new one for us! This small example says a lot about the level of care and hospitality we experienced throughout our stay.
Another highlight was the breakfast, lovingly prepared every morning by our host's mother. She was absolutely wonderful and always made sure to accommodate our wishes. Every day she surprised us with something different, including homemade traditional Sardinian specialties, which made breakfast something we genuinely looked forward to each morning. It was such a personal touch and gave us the opportunity to experience a little bit of authentic Sardinian hospitality and cuisine.
The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and full of character, with a beautiful and unique interior that really made it feel like an authentic Italian home. The location was also very convenient for exploring Alghero and the surrounding area.
Their kindness continued right until the very end of our stay. Our flight home was late in the evening, and since there were no new guests arriving that day, our host kindly told us not to worry about the normal check-out time and that we could stay in the apartment until it was convenient for us to leave. This allowed us to enjoy our final day in Alghero without having to worry about our luggage or spend hours waiting for our flight.
What really sets this place apart is not simply the apartment, but the genuine warmth, generosity and hospitality of the people behind it.

The house is absolutely wonderful — beautiful, comfortable, spotless, and incredibly welcoming. It had everything we could possibly need and even more, with all the amenities that made our stay feel like home.
Giancarlo was an amazing host: extremely kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our entire stay. He was always available to answer our questions, give us advice, and help us with anything we needed. His hospitality truly made a difference and made our experience even more special.
The location is excellent and felt very safe, just a short 12-minute walk from the historic city centre.
And a very special mention to Mrs. Rita! The breakfast she prepared for us every morning was absolutely amazing — fresh, delicious, generous, and full of wonderful local flavours and products. Rita herself is such a warm, lovely, and wonderful person, and her care and kindness made every morning special.
Thank you so much, Giancarlo and Rita, for everything! Your hospitality made our trip so much more enjoyable and memorable. We truly felt welcomed and cared for.
We would absolutely love to stay here again and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Alghero. A truly wonderful experience from beginning to end! ❤️

We had an amazing stay with Giancarlo and Rita. From the moment we arrived they made us feel very welcome and couldn’t have been more helpful. They gave us brilliant recommendations for beaches, restaurants and things to do, organised tickets for Neptune’s Grotto, and were always available if we needed anything.
The apartment was spotless, comfortable and in a great location for exploring Alghero and the surrounding area. Breakfast each morning was excellent, and the little personal touches really made the stay special.
We especially appreciated how friendly and accommodating they were, even allowing us a late check-out before our flight. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Alghero. Thank you again, Giancarlo and Rita, for making our holiday so enjoyable!
