This historic hotel has been beautifully renovated. Situated in the heart of downtown Hood River is the perfect location to explore the town and enjoy the many funky restaurants and bars.
We had a room on the third floor with a view over the town to the Columbia river. It was spacious and very comfortable.
We took full advantage of the basement spa. It comprises an enormous, bubbling, hot tub a Scandinavian sauna that comfortably seats 10 and an ice shower, which while somewhat overwhelming is definitely invigorating!
Each and every member of staff that we encountered was charming and helpful. They literally could not do too much for us.
I loved everything about the hotel!

Beautiful building, very cozy feel. Spa area was very nice. Nice location.
Rooms had minimal furniture and amenities. Basically a bed and nightstand. Tough to get housekeeping services.

The location was central and the rooftop lounge was delightful. Bed was comfortable.
The rooms and bathroom were small. We had to ask for a fridge (which they did kindly provide!) The biggest issue was the noise from the street and the frequent trains.

Clean facilities.
No where to park at the hotel, no where to sit in the room(it was deluxe king suite) bed was rock hard.
