The staff were great at this hotel and the pool and hot tub were a fun bonus. Our room was huge and the main bed was very comfortable. There were two TVs.
We used the breakfast area to have supper and play cards. Great location for visiting the lovely downtown area, which has a great bookshop, a very cute clothes shop and a fantastic art gallery.
The breakfast wasn’t as varied as other Holiday Inns we’ve stayed at - no eggs, for instance. The AC was either freezing and noisy or ineffective. The sofa bed our children slept on sloped and was uncomfortable. However, apparently the mattresses for these will be replaced October 2026.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable - soft and mushy. My wife ended up sleeping on the futon/lounge chair because if she had slept in the bed her back would have been extremely painful in the morning. The front desk did bring us a blanket for her - per our request.
