Very clean, great locations easily accessible to train stations about 3 mins walk and local grocery shops just downstairs and restaurants.

Excellent! The place was very clean and spacious, making it perfect for travelling with family or friends. Public transport was extremely convenient, making it easy to get anywhere. The apartment was fully equipped, so my family and I could cook a delicious meal whenever we wanted.

It was clean, as always in Japan. The aircon/heater were good. Good Laifen hairdryer. Nice smart TV. Short walk to the metro station with lots of convenience stores nearby and a grocery store at your doorstep. Good bakery and ramen nearby, and the neighbouring Kiyosumi-shirakawa area has lots of good coffee.

This booking was a rushed decision that I did not vet as thoroughly as I normally do, and I regret it. Monzen-nakacho is a bit further from the rest of Tokyo as I had hoped. This was my mistake. It's a walk up a narrow 4 flights of stairs with no lift, to the 5th floor. Struggle with luggage. The shower and bathroom sink are separate from the main flat. It's all private but having to exit into the cold stairwell is not nice and feels dirty, plus there was a smell in the stairwell. Thankfully the toilet is in the main flat. The beds are very uncomfortable. For two people we managed by stacking the better futons on the tatami. But if you really have four people, it's over. One futon is so thin, you might as well be sleeping on the hard floor. If you have four people, it's cramped. Nowhere to open luggage or relax. Nowhere to sit to watch the smart TV. There is nowhere to hang anything. They put paintings on the walls but not a single hook. There are hangers and a closet but we needed things to air out and it's troublesome to access the closet. FYI the washing machine is pretty small at 3.8L only. Even for two people on a relatively short trip we had to do multiple washes. Then struggle to hang it to dry because no hooks. We didn't cook but if you cooked and had to dry a lot of dishes at one go, similarly there's no good way to do it. No dish towel, no dish rack.
