Very New and clean. Loved 5th floor fire pots. pool and jacuzzi looked great.

Room had one side seating and it faced the oppisite side of the room so if you wanted to sit and watch tv you couldnt you had to lay on the bed or stand up. Should have had services on the 5th floor balcony for food and beverage. Beds were supper soft,

Gorgeous renovation of a historic hotel. The facilities are fantastic and comfortable. Rooms were quiet and spacious.

The WiFi was wonky.

Beautiful hotel

The hotel itself is beautiful, elegant and well designed. The location directly by the beach is attractive, and the rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. The property has a pleasant atmosphere and the staff we interacted with were generally friendly.

The hotel is seriously overpriced for what it offers. At around $850 per night, I expected a much higher level of facilities and service. The swimming pool is far too small for a hotel at this price level. Even more frustrating, many of the larger loungers were marked as “reserved”, although nobody appeared to be using them, leaving paying guests with very limited seating options. Housekeeping was disappointing. During our three-night stay, amenities that were already quite limited were forgotten and had to be requested. The valet parking is also expensive and charged separately, which is difficult to justify given the already very high room rate. Finally, although the beachfront location is beautiful, the surrounding neighborhood did not feel particularly upscale or appealing to us. Overall, the hotel is attractive, but the experience does not justify the price. The facilities, housekeeping and additional charges do not match what I would expect from a hotel charging around $800 per night.
