The WiFi was excellent, both for my phone and for efficient work on my laptop.
The house is inside a fenced area with a few other houses, which felt safe and welcoming without the atmosphere of a “gated community.” It’s in a normal Swahili neighborhood, with small corner shops nearby.
The location is fantastic. I arrived at around 4–5 am and really appreciated both the airport pickup and how close the property is to the airport.
The place was very clean, with running water and a well-equipped kitchen: basic but practical, with induction tops, a fridge (where you can also buy drinks), and even good French press coffee to help fight off jet lag or long adventure days with Mashingo Adventures (see https://mashingo-adventures.com/). The living room is cozy, and the bedroom is very spacious. It would be amazing for a group or family traveling together.
There was some ongoing construction outside, which makes the outdoor area look a little less inviting, but it wasn’t noisy and didn’t affect my stay.
