The laundry at the back of the hotel is not good (but not belonging to the hotel). They "lost" some expensive shirts of mine and denied ever seeing them

After reading reviews I was prepared for the worst but it honestly wasn't so bad.
The lobby is nice, staff were friendly although the lads sat outside were not helpful with luggage when we arrived.
Room was huge! Decor has seen better days and the bed was quite hard.
Bathroom is big as well, liked the magnifying mirror.
We didn't use the pool but popped up to watch the sunset over the river. The pool looked okay, perhaps a bit grotty and the tiles around needed updating.
It was clean enough but could be improved. For a night it was fine
Beds were hard and uncomfortable
Not as clean as you would want, the curtains were stained and dusty.
