Wonderful place to stay. We had a fabulous time in this beautiful house. Very kind owner. Absolutely fantastic rooms. We will definitely book again on our next journey to Wadhurst. Thank you so much!

The rooms were smart large and comfortable. We were able to check in early as we had a wedding to get to at Wadhurst Castle by 2.00pm The Castle was a short walk away. We were able to get back in easily after the pub was closed.
Early check-in. I rang twice before our visit to ask if we could check in early - I got vague answers on both occasions. The booking email does say ring if you've got any requirements such as early check-in. Luckily the bar staff were very helpful when we got there and sorted it
The tea/coffee making facilities need to be looked at.
The coffee machine in one of the rooms had not been cleaned in ages. The water reservoir contained green slime - yuk!(see the picture).
The number of coffee pods and tea bags provided meant we could only have one drink of each per room. I'm not familiar with the coffee machines and it took ages to get anything out - not all the pods worked.
This is neither a like or dislike - breakfast is not provided and we found a good French café down the road which was open at 9.00 on a Sunday
