A wonderful break from the "generic online booking platform aesthetic. A massive room in a historic building on a park estate. Perfect for a one-night stay en route, although adding a day to explore the walking paths is well worth. Safe parking (esp. for motorcycles). Simplicity at its best.

A beautiful old house with a very large room with views over the front lawn and trees. A large bathroom with clean towels. What we didn’t expect was milk provided and coffee and tea making with a proper table and chairs to sit down.
I think I would prefer a bigger bed as this gorgeous iron bed was a double and we are used to more room but for two nights it worked!
