The cabin is located about 10 minutes from town, which is incredible !! The drive up is not too steep but it is a little vertical. It rained every day we were there so we couldnt use the fire pit but there was a fresh package of wood available to use if not for the rain. The cabin was immaculately clean. The area was very quiet at night, no loud noises or engines revving up and down the mountain. The only issue we found was that the staircase to the upper 2 bedrooms, the double room and the playroom, were a little steep, but there was a metal gate at the top of the stairs and also a gate at the bottom to prevent any little or pets from sprinting up the stairs. There was also a metal gate going from the porch to the stairs at the front door which would prevent any littles or pets from running down the stairs unattended. Our family of 5 had no problem feeling at home in this cabin. We are looking forward to our next trip back. Thanks so much for a wonderful time ! Oh and also !! We saw our first ever bear at the cabin! We watched it safely from the porch while it wandered around the yard and driveway! An experience we will never forget !!!

While it was a quick trip for a volleyball tournament, location was wonderfully unique and host was very helpful when code didn't work.

Location was great, but not well marked for directions off very steep road, which made it difficult to find in the dark. Place feels a bit run down. No handles on doors makes it difficult to open, blinds broken in living room, no filter for coffee pot, leftover beer cans thrown in fire pit from prior guests, beds extremely uncomfortable and old. One tv remote for living room and bedroom tv. Host was very nice and very responsive to any questions though.
