It is close to Cardiff.
Received a message at 2030 asking when we would arrive as she wanted to go to bed. The check in time states 15-22, also what with the key in the box by the door, what does it really matter? Since she went to bed early we felt like we had to be really quiet which made for an uncomfortable time. The room itself was quite cold and the light at the bottom of the stairs was on all night so the light came through into our room. Breakfast was offered and initially we accepted but we wasn't told what time it was or what it would be so decided to not bother come morning.
Don't confuse this place for Miskin Hotel down the road. I say this because we first went to Miskin Hotel and the bartender stated he gets that a lot, so I assume it's a common problem. In retrospect, I didn't delve far enough into the booking which is on me ultimately.
