very basic. Room was bare and furniture had been removed - there was a sofa on my last visit which no longer there and the room seemed very bare

Receptionist refused to let me check in 30 mins early

Quiet with good access to local roads and M4 motorway
The £5 per night car parking charge. Used to be free - using car park to subsidise stays?

The room was clean and tidy. The ladies at reception are very welcoming and friendly. It is right by the outlet stores, with a Wagamama's and other restaurants nearby.

Check in was easy. The bed was clean and comfy. The wifi connection was good.
There was no lift to take luggage, bags and laptop, so as a solo traveller it was tricky to carry everything while climbing stairs. The bedside lights did not work, so it was bright light or nothing. The décor was very basic and the bathroom looked tired. The surface that the television and tea facilities, which I needed to use to work was sticky and didn't easily wash off. The breakfast was very disappointing as it was a small box of prepacked food with UHT milk and water, nothing fresh, not even juice. I didn't bother to pick up the breakfast the second morning. I was promised a receipt for parking but never received it.
